HOW IT STARTED

BUILT ON A COMMITMENT TO AUTHENTIC JAPANESE WAGYU

Founded in 2019, J-GYU Corporation was created to bring genuine Japanese Wagyu to the Philippines with the transparency, expertise, and care it deserves. We are Filipino-owned, Japan-trained, and guided by the standards that define Wagyu at its source.

We partner with trusted farms in Kagoshima, Japan — one of the country’s most celebrated Wagyu-producing regions — to source cattle known for exceptional quality, consistency, and marbling. Every piece of J-GYU Wagyu is sourced, graded, and handled according to the rigorous standards that have made Japanese Wagyu respected around the world.

SPECIALIZED TRAINING IN JAPAN

LEARNING FROM THE SOURCE

Members of the J-GYU team have completed specialized Wagyu processing and butchery programs conducted by the Japan Livestock Products Export Promotion Council. This training helps us maintain consistency, maximize yield, and deliver a wider range of cuts and solutions for restaurants, retailers, and Wagyu enthusiasts across the Philippines.
